SRC Australia's Biggest Morning Tea

This week our student representative council is hosting an Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, to assist in the fund-raising efforts of the Cancer Council. Funds raised from Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea are helping to empower Australians to reduce their cancer risk by funding world-leading prevention campaigns. This includes encouraging participation in cancer screening programs and providing education on healthy lifestyle choices through programs like SunSmart. Thanks to vital research helped funded by being involved in Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea events, Australia is on track to be the first country to eliminate cervical cancer by as early as 2028. We will begin our event in the hall with a short presentation from our SRC members, followed by a performance from our GPS choir. Following this, we welcome everyone to attend our morning tea. Here, a $5 donation to the Cancer Council will buy you a lovely morning tea to share with family and friends. You will also have time to browse our SRC led artwork display, where you will be able to purchase your child’s artwork for $2. We cannot wait to see everyone on Wednesday at 11.00am for our Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea.
