On Friday, our Boys and Girls Touch Football teams versed Franklin in the PSSA knockout competition. Our girls played extremely well, in a very close game. Their determination and effort was outstanding over the entire match. Franklin were the eventual winners of the game 4 – 2. Our boys had trained well in the lead up and were excited for the game. They started very strong, spreading the ball to the wings, and scoring 3 tries in the first few minutes of the game. Cooper Smith dominated the centre of the field, with cut out passes and dummies, he was supported by Jack Lindley and the pair controlled the Gundagai attack for the majority of the game. Defensively the boys were pushing up into the Franklin attack which resulted in a number of handovers to Gundagai. Clayton Rainbow and Thomas Monte both used their pace on the wings to get multiple tries. Well done to all of the boys and an exceptional game of Touch.
