Highlands Swimming Carnival

Gundagai Public had a great day at the Highlands Swimming Carnival at the Tumut Pool, with our representatives showing just how competitive they can be in the pool and, as always, displaying a positive attitude and outstanding behaviour.

This year’s team had many positive results in the pool. Congratulations to: Josie Waddell (1^st 50m Freestyle), Amelia Kerr (2^nd 50m Breaststroke), Kolby Field (2^nd 50m Freestyle, Backstroke, Butterfly), Chase Clout (3^rd 50m Freestyle), Charlie Shannon (3^rd 50m Breaststroke), Juliet Kerr (3^rd 50 Freestyle), Jimmy Lott (2^nd 50m Breaststroke), Jax Smart (2^nd 50m Freestyle, Butterfly, 3^rd 50m Backstroke), and Jayden Smart (2^nd 50m Freestyle). Our relay teams also performed well: Senior boys 2^nd, and senior girls, junior girls and junior boys all 3^rd.  The next stop for successful swimmers is the Riverina Swimming Carnival in Leeton on Monday 11 March.
