Congratulations to everyone involved in our School Cross Country last Friday. It was a wonderful opportunity for students, staff, parents, families and friends to come together and enjoy the spirit of our school. All students put in a tremendous effort completing the cross country course, in some tricky conditions. The healthy competition and camaraderie demonstrated by our students really demonstrated our school spirit and values.
A big thank you must go to the P&C who coordinated the barbeque lunch, and the parents who helped with organisation and service on the day, and to everyone who sent in the tasty cakes and slices to sell. Your efforts were very much appreciated and really made the day a special one.
This year Rafter claimed the house trophy and every member of Rafter team who competed on the day helped the team secure first place. Well done on a great team effort.
Congratulations to Lilly Nowell, Peyton Waddell, Maya Morris, Ruby Turner, Craig Bond, Nate Mooney, Rhys Elphick, and Jacob Turner, who were presented with age champion medallions at our cross country carnival last Friday. The Highlands Cross Country will be held in Gundagai on Friday 27 May 2022. Permission notes will be sent home with students who have qualified for Highlands this week. The first 4 placegetters in the 8/9, 10, 11 and 12 year age divisions are eligible to attend.
