It was fantastic to see how the Gundagai Public School community got behind our carnival and made it such an awesome experience for our students. Once again the spirit of our students was first class. The way they competed, cheered each other on, and supported the running of the carnival was outstanding. We had so many students pushing themselves and trying new events on the day, which was excellent. Well done to each and every primary student who represented their sporting house on the day!
Our Infants’ students also had such a delightful time at their water play carnival. It was awesome to see so many smiling faces down at the pool enjoying all the fantastic activities put on by our wonderful staff. Thank you to all our families for supporting our first event of the year and making the carnival such a positive one for students and staff alike!
Rafter was announced the champion swimming house for 2024 and House Captains Amelia Kerr and Rhys Elphick accepted the Trophy for Rafter.
A special congratulations goes out to our age champions for 2024. This year’s champions: Jnr Girls – Elsie-Mae Mooney; Jnr Boys – Jax Smart; 11 Year Girls – Susie Kerr; 11 Year Boys – Kolby Field; 12 Year Girls – Amelia Kerr; & 12 Year Boys – Ben Lyall.
