Debating

Debating

Gundagai Public's Blue debating team has two wins from their first two debates. The team had to argue for the negative "That all cleaning and gardening jobs at school should be done by students". In a very close debate the team of Tyler Smith, Tilly Coleman, Amelia Kerr and Jacob Turner beat Tumut Public's blue team. The team then came up against the Tumbarumba team and successfully argued that “All computers and devices should be banned from primary school classes.” For this debate the team was Chase Clout, Tilly Coleman, Amelia Kerr and Tyler Smith.  Gundagai Gold’s team had their first debate for the year against Tumbarumba  where they successfully argued against the idea that “Primary schools should have an extra afternoon of sport each week". Susie Kerr, Lily-Rose Mooney, Bella Amos and Norah Lindley were very convincing in their victory. Both teams will have more round debates early next term.
