Last Friday, the school came together to celebrate the Olympic spirit in a day full of fun and excitement. Our students were inspired during our opening ceremony, when Des Manton, who carried the Olympic torch in the 1956 Melbourne Olympics spoke to the students about the privilege of being an Olympic torch bearer. Our students then competed in the Gundagai Countries throughout a number of events. Special mention to Mrs Fiddes for her coordination, what an awesome day!
